sustainable events
The impact of our actions is reflected in the economy, in our daily lives, and on the planet.
Selective Waste Collection
This practice, implemented for over two decades at trade fairs organized by FRANCAL, reaffirms the company’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of large events. Waste sorting is carried out through a partnership with LC Almeida Ambiental.
Specialized professionals responsible for logistics track and monitor all waste generated in the following phases:
Assembly
During the event
Disassembly
All recyclable material is donated to recycling cooperatives in Central do Tietê.
Recycling Bins and Cardboard Bins
Starting with the sustainable and biodegradable waste bins, cardboard is present throughout the event in the form of specific bins for recyclable and organic products. Being selective, they contribute to the sorting, speed, and overall logistics of disposing of recyclable waste.
Inclusion and Diversity
The event selects and hires professionals with disabilities for its staff.
Environmental Compensation
In addition to sending the sorted waste to the cooperative, we also achieve 100% environmental compensation for recyclables through the eureciclo seal.
This seal represents the compensation for the total volume of recyclables (paper, glass, metal, and plastic) generated during the event, from setup to dismantling, through the payment of recycling credits to approved cooperatives. In other words: for every package placed in the environment, an equivalent package will be recycled.
This action contributes to the entire recycling chain, resulting from the union and collaboration of everyone, including you, visitor and exhibitor.
